In light of the observance of National Women’s Month, a Culmination Program highlighting the Bureau’s accomplishments, month-long activities, and ways forward towards achieving gender equality and women empowerment was conducted last March 30, 2023, at the BFAR XI Regional Office, Davao City. The event was organized by the BFAR XI Gender and Development Focal Point System.

Capping the celebration are the Walk for a Cause organized by the Humanitarian Organization for Peace and Engagements, “ZUMBAbae” – a community dance exercise, and the Filipino Poetry Writing and Photo Contests. The event garnered an overwhelming participation of which the following BFAR XI Offices are declared the winners:

BFAR XI’s support to the Philippine Commission on Women goes beyond the commemoration of National Women’s Month by integrating in all its developmental programs the interventions designed to equalize the rights and privileges of all genders.
