Last October 21, 2022, the Provincial Fisheries Office of Davao de Oro led by Rocky D. Sumagaysay with the PFO staff conducted Training on Grow-out Culture and Management of Tilapia in Freshwater Fishpond and Aquaponics Improved Technology to twenty-four (24) Senior High School Teachers in Laak National High School, Laak, Davao de Oro.

On the same date, the Balik Sigla sa Ilog at Lawa (BASIL) regional focal Marche T. Monteron together with PFO Rocky D. Sumagaysay in coordination with the MLGU-MAGRO conducted communal seeding of 10,000 pieces tilapia post-fingerling in Mag-agbay Creek, Longanapan, Laak, DDO under BASIL Program.
