Provincial Fisheries Officer of Davao de Oro Rocky Sumagaysay attended the Provincial Fishery Law Enforcement Meeting spearheaded by PLGU-PAGRO, last April 13, 2022. It was also attended by BFAR XI- RPLEG, PNP, PNP-Martime Group, Coastguard, MGLU-MAGRO of Maco, Mabini, Pantukan, MFARMC, and Bantay Dagat of Mabini, Davao De Oro.
BFAR XI Launches Capacity Building on FMA'S Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management

BFAR XI And Boc Donates to Davao City and Talaingod 23,000 Kilos Confiscated Frigate Tuna

A ceremonial turn-over by BFAR XI and Bureau of Customs of the confiscated misdeclared frigate tuna to the City Government of Davao transpired last April 7, 2022. A total of 2,300 boxes were distributed, amounting to more or less 2.9 million pesos.
PHMD Conducts Monitoring and Coordination with Davao Oriental LGUS

Last April 4-7, 2022, BFAR XI Post-Harvest and Marketing Division(PHMD) conducted monitoring and coordination with the Local Government Unit and Provincial Fisheries Office of Davao Oriental with respect to the status of the Community Fish Landing Centers, Municipal Ordinances, operations manual and fisheries organization beneficiaries.

Mr. Joel C. Canda from the Municipality of Mabini was selected as the Provincial Fisherfolk Representative of Davao de Oro (DDO). On the other hand, Mr. Rodrigo Poliquit of the Municipality of Maco was the alternate Provincial Fisherfolk Representative.
