BFAR XI SIGNS MOA WITH DEPED-SCHOOLS DIVISION OF DAVAO DEL SUR FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF GULAYAN SA PAARALAN PROJECT

A Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony was conducted between BFAR XI and Department of Education (DepEd)- Schools Division of Davao del Sur. This was for BFAR XI’s provision of Technical Assistance and Inputs in relation to DEPED ‘s Gulayan sa Paaralan Project. The signing was held last March 17, 2022 at the DepEd- Schools Division of Davao del Sur Office in Padada, Davao del Sur.

Through the implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Project (GPP) in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools, it provided a means to address malnutrition, promote vegetable and fish production and consumption among school children.

This is also to support the hunger reduction initiatives of the Government, and to ensure continuous supply of vegetables and other foods such as fish and meat for the School- Based Feeding Program (SBFP).
