BFAR 11 CFO Davao City in action:

Fishfarmers of Calinan district received a total of 43,000 pieces tilapia fingerlings from BFAR 11 earlier today. The said activity is facilitated by BFAR 11 City Fishery Office in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Davao City. The beneficiaries were validated and provided with proper technical assistance to ensure the successful culture of their tilapia.

Words of gratitude for BFAR 11 were posted in the beneficiaries' social media account—Calinan Agriculture “Thanks BFAR XI for your untiring support to our requests”.

The activity is in line with BFAR 11’s commitment in achieving food security in the region, which complements the Department of Agriculture's (DA) Plant, Plant, Plant Program by increasing fisheries production through backyard fish farming.
