Wrapping up this yearโs M&E, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) XI, through its Regional Monitoring Team, visited Davao Occidental from December 3 to 5, 2025. The activity aims to ensure that BFAR XIโs interventions remain effective, relevant, and truly beneficial to the fisherfolk they serve.
During the visit, the team conducted face-to-face interviews with beneficiaries of various livelihood programs, including fishing gear distribution, fingerlings dispersal, and post-harvest equipment support. Fisherfolk shared their experiences and feedback, giving the team valuable insights into how these programs impact their communities and how they can be improved.
With the 2024 M&E now completed, BFAR XI reaffirms its commitment to staying connected with communities, listening to fisherfolk, and ensuring that its interventions remain responsive, sustainable, and meaningful across all provinces in Region XI.
