The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region XI joined in celebrating a milestone with the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) XI during the blessing and inauguration of its new regional office at JYSL Building, Brgy. Bago Gallera, Talomo District, Davao City on October 23, 2024.

The event brought together key partner agencies in the region including BFAR XI whose presence highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in supporting the agriculture and fisheries sectors. The program began with a solemn holy mass, followed by the blessing of the new office premises.

With the office now strategically located in Davao City, PCIC will focus its efforts on better-serving its stakeholders in the Davao Region. To mark the occasion, local farmers in Davao City were recognized with monetary awards for their contributions to agricultural development.

The event concluded with the successful inauguration, signaling a new chapter for PCIC Region 11 and its partners including BFAR XI as they continue to work together for the benefit of the Davao Region’s farming and fishing communities.
