The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) XI Regional Monitoring Team continues its field monitoring and evaluation activities in Davao del Sur. These activities focus on assessing the effectiveness of various fisheries interventions implemented in the province and aim to measure the outcomes of these interventions on fish production and the livelihood of fisherfolk beneficiaries.
A total of 71 beneficiaries were interviewed or monitored, encompassing the following PAPs: fingerlings for broodstock development, technology demonstrations, post-harvest equipment/materials distributed, fingerlings distribution, fishing gears, and the F/B Pagbabago banca.
