The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources XI, through its Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Team, conducts its annual field monitoring and evaluation of implemented programs and projects in the region, focusing on aquaculture, capture, and post-harvest interventions. These initiatives are aimed at improving the livelihoods of registered fisherfolk individuals and associations across the Davao Region.
The comprehensive monitoring began in Davao City from July 24-26, 2024. This activity is essential for assessing the outcomes and impacts of the Bureau’s programs at the grassroots level. By examining the performance of BFAR XI interventions, the goal is to accurately measure progress, identify and address any challenges, and make necessary adjustments to better meet the needs of the fishing communities.
Stay tuned for more updates as this important work towards community support and sustainable development continues.
